On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great pleasure to welcome you to the International Symposium on Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus and other Swine Viruses (IPRRSS) 2026, which will be held from 6th to 8th October, 2026, in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain.

We are honored to bring together researchers, veterinarians, industry professionals, and students from around the world to exchange knowledge and share the latest advances in the understanding, prevention and control of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS).

PRRS continues to represent one of the most persistent and economically significant diseases in global pig production, demanding coordinated research efforts and innovative solutions. While PRRS remains at the heart of this event, the symposium will also address other major viral diseases impacting swine health and production, including Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus, influenza A virus, and other emerging or re-emerging viruses of global relevance.
